Collection & forfeit terms
Short version: turn up inside the window on your drop card, or you lose the order. The longer version is below, and it is genuinely all of it.
Orders close 72 hours before the drop
That is when the bakery in Stamford gets the numbers and starts planning production. After the cutoff you cannot add to, change or cancel an order, because it is already being baked.
Collection is at the venue, inside the window, only
Every drop card carries a venue, a date and a window with both ends written out. We are there for that window and then we leave. There is no counter to come back to.
Miss the window and the order is forfeit
The bread was made for you and cannot be resold or kept. If you do not collect it inside the window, the order is forfeit and is not refunded. You agree to this explicitly at checkout, not by way of a link.
We will remind you twice, by email and text
Once the day before, once on the morning of the drop. A forfeit should never be a surprise, and if you tell us in advance that you cannot make it, talk to us — we would rather sort it out than keep your money.
If we cancel, you are refunded in full
Weather, a van problem, a venue falling through. If the drop does not happen, the whole order comes back to you including the $10.00 pickup fee.
Payment is taken in full, up front
Through Stripe. Sales tax is calculated by Stripe against the New Jersey business address. Card details never touch our servers.
Something gone wrong with an order? Say so before the drop rather than after, and we will almost always be able to fix it.
